Infos about development around Teeworlds, 5 days over 7

Hello tees,

This is the first post of a series of pull request spotlights from the oy’s main repo. The Dunely Daily isn’t only about my creations and projects, it’s also the place for some random infos from the Teeworlds official development.

LordSkelethom has recently sent via github a very interesting implementation of an editor automapper. As explained in his posterous, the idea is very simple: create a Tiles layer, draw some random stuff in it, right click to access its properties, and click Auto Map.

The feature is very well-coded: you can write a config file for each tileset, automap the foreground and the background, and even generate some random stuff, all this in a flashlight.

In his great goodness, Lord even provides us 4 config files (grass, desert, winter, jungle), each one including the foreground and the background. It’s more than enough for creating and testing maps without spending half an hour putting grass a bit everywhere.

You even can enjoy remapping the standard maps (ctf2 looks really cute with desert tiles, and ctf_lava is so weird with winter tileset!).

Dunely Dune.

P.S.: Feature already patched in the gamer, of course.
